Simon Burton has over 20 year’s media, marketing and event experience. He has worked for companies large and small in the event world as organiser, supplier and PR consultant.
He established Exposure Communications in 2000 and has since launched Excite! (the show for the exhibition, experiential and event industry), London Venue Expo and Energy Solutions Expo. Both were subsequently sold – Energy Solutions Expo in a £1Million deal to UBM.
Having graduated from Trinity College Oxford, Simon began professional life when he joined IPC Magazines as a graduate trainee. His career in marketing of exhibitions included several key positions in leading companies in the UK, such as Brintex in 1995, P&O Exhibition Services in 1998.
Simon speaks at conferences around the world and writes regular columns for magazines about the nature of the live marketing, social and digital media and the effective use of events. Simon is the youngest personality in the Exhibition News “50 most influential”.
